Job Description:
McDonald's, one of the most recognized brands in the world, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our Cyber Security Compliance team as a supervisor. This role emphasizes coding expertise and analytical problem-solving, providing critical support for the design, development, and maintenance of IT General Controls that enhance our risk management processes. Experience in the "Big 4" consulting firms is highly valued as it demonstrates a good understanding of operational excellence and collaborative teamwork. Prior compliance or audit experience is not required.

This position will work with the Global Technology teams to improve the regulatory and controls environment though education, identification and implementation of control improvements. This includes recommending control design and operating effectiveness improvements. The position will include working with internal and external auditors.
Responsibilities

  • Analyze IT general controls and identify weaknesses and improvements.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improving risk management practices. Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to uncover actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Operations, to gather project requirements, resolve technical challenges, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with governance, risk, and compliance needs.
  • Identify and implement innovative process improvements to improve operational efficiency by bringing to bear audit practices to reduce manual workflows, decrease processing time, and minimize errors.
  • Document coding projects and system improvements in detail, including technical specifications, user guides, and change logs, for consistency and information accessibility.
  • Support the identification and quantification of risks by developing and maintaining technical tools such as risk assessment models, simulation frameworks, or predictive analytics systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, programming tools, and trends that could improve processes and recommend their integration where relevant.
  • Provide technical mentorship and training to team members or collaborators on how to use developed tools, dashboards, or automated systems.

The expected salary range for this role is $98,140 - $125,130

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements

  • Experience as an IT auditor
  • Experience with IT general controls for access, change, and operations.
  • Strong analytical abilities and working with detailed evidence
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, ERP and system integration (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Two to three years of IT audit experience


Desired skills

  • Experience as an IT auditor with an external audit company with SOX clients
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and technical aptitude.
  • Analytical mentality with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with PCI and privacy controls
