The Role
Our internship program gives you true insight into a career in human resources, while helping you develop highly sought-after skills that will help you jump start your career. You will be exposed to all the facets of a human resources function in a global corporate department. The position is located downtown Chicago in our corporate headquarters in the Willis Tower.
Responsibilities
- Process simple transactions in our HR Information System Workday working closely with the HR Coordinators.
- Maintain new hire paperwork, tracking open items and follow-up as needed.
- Maintain electronic personnel files and assist teams with file clean-up.
- Assist benefits team in reviewing and processing related invoices.
- Assist talent acquisition team with scheduling candidate interviews.
- Partner with Learning and Development team to revamp dashboard and monitor metrics.
- Work closely with Talent Management team during the Mid-Year review process and provide support building PowerPoint decks.
- Various other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a student seeking an undergraduate education.
- Strong communication skills; listening, speaking and writing.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented, adding value to a collegial, collaborative environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated; possesses a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong aptitude in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Seeking undergraduate education in Human Resources.
- Ability to learn our HRIS (Workday).
Pay Range Guidelines for this Position:
The hourly range for this position is 24.00 USD to 24.00 USD. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and skills.
