POSITION SUMMARY:
Kemper, a publicly traded, multi-billion-dollar insurance and financial services company, seeks a talented and motivated professional to join its Financial Operations team. This is an exciting role for a strong performer who is looking to manage the successful planning and execution of integration initiatives through maximization of process efficiency, automation of manual processes, and improved speed-to-delivery. This role will be a central point of coordination within the Financial Services team ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy while driving efficient and effective integration processes. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading efforts within Financial Services to integrate and automate various processes by developing a deep understanding of source data and end users needs and then directing the design, implementation and oversight of solution.

Keeps management informed verbally and in writing of activities and problems within assigned areas of responsibility; refers matters beyond limits of authority and expertise to management for direction.

Manage change management efforts to guide teams through transitions, address challenges proactively, and minimize disruption.

Identify potential risks and roadblocks early in the process, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure alignment of operational and cultural goals.

Resolves questions from internal and external sources, including department managers, affiliated companies, auditors, customers, and regulators.

Performs other related duties or special projects as required and requested.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required - or equivelent work experience.

8+ years of experience in a related area.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:

Intermediate Software Skills/Knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word.

Advanced Software Skills/Knowledge: Guidewire

Advanced analytical skills required as it relates to billing processes.

Advanced understanding of billing for insurance companies.

Advanced project management skills.
-
Strong organizational skills.

Must be a motivated self-starter.

Must be a team player.

Excellent communication skills to interact with varying levels of management and professional staff.

The range for this position is $86,000- $143,000. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
