Ravenswood is the home to our headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. We take pride in having a friendly, open office life that is relaxed and honest. As a flexible-first organization, this role requires the Sales Executive to be onsite at the office or meeting with clients two-three days a week.
What you'd be doing in this role
As a Sales Executive at Nextpoint, you'll take the lead in managing the full sales cycle-from identifying potential clients to closing deals. You'll be advising clients on how to improve their business, generate new revenue, and strengthen their existing relationships. In this role, you'll be the trusted advisor to your assigned territory, learning about your clients' needs and recommending solutions that truly make a difference.
You'll also be the one delivering product demos, preparing proposals, and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your goal? To build strong relationships, communicate the value of Nextpoint's solutions, and ultimately drive new business. Along the way, you'll work closely with other teams, like marketing and client success, to ensure your clients have a seamless experience. We'll count on you to maintain an active pipeline, forecast accurately, and hit your quarterly sales targets. And if you see ways we can make our processes more efficient, we're all ears. You'll have the freedom to innovate and bring new ideas to fruition.
The impact you'll make

  • Manage the full sales cycle: From finding the right prospects to closing the deal, you'll be the person who guides clients through the whole process, ensuring they feel confident and supported every step of the way.
  • Understand customer needs: You'll spend time really getting to know your clients, using a consultative approach to figure out what they need. By doing this, you'll help them see how Nextpoint can make their business better.
  • Communicate Nextpoint's value: You'll explain how our products can solve their challenges in a way that makes sense to them, showing why we're the best fit for their needs.
  • Product demos and proposals: You'll show clients exactly how our products work for them, making their decision easy by putting together clear proposals and sales contracts that speak directly to their needs.
  • Keep a strong pipeline: By staying active and keeping up with regular meetings, you'll make sure we always have a healthy flow of potential clients and opportunities on the horizon.
  • Track opportunities: Keeping track of your pipeline in our CRM will help us stay organized, allowing you to provide accurate forecasts and help us hit our revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with other teams: You'll be working closely with marketing, account management, and customer success to ensure our clients have a great experience with us and feel taken care of at every stage.
  • Innovate and improve: If you spot a way to make things run more smoothly, we want to hear about it. Your ideas can help us improve how we do things.
  • Hit quarterly targets: You'll play a key role in helping us meet our sales goals, which means you'll have a direct impact on the growth of Nextpoint.
  • Travel as needed: Whether it's for team events or meeting clients in person, you'll be flexible and ready to travel when necessary to keep those relationships strong.

Your expertise:

  • You have 2+ years of experience as a full-cycle sales representative, successfully carrying a quota and consistently achieving your targets. Experience in SaaS or the legal industry is a huge plus.
  • You bring a proven record of success in previous sales roles, demonstrating your ability to close deals and maintain strong client relationships.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, particularly those within small-to-medium tech companies or startups that are rapidly evolving.
  • You're an excellent communicator-whether it's in writing, over the phone, or in person, you have a knack for conveying your message clearly and professionally.
  • You approach your work with a positive, proactive mindset, and you're always ready to collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a strong asset, as you're comfortable using it to manage your sales pipeline and track performance.
  • You hold a BS/BA degree-or you've achieved the experience to back it up.
  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
