The Director of Human Resources will play a crucial role in shaping the HR strategy and initiatives at CoinFlip. This position requires a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can foster a positive work culture, support employee growth, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with CoinFlip's business goals.

  • Advise senior leadership on organizational development, talent management, and workforce planning.

  • Lead HR initiatives that support a high-performance culture and enhance employee engagement.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee well-being and satisfaction.

  • Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, team-building activities, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Design and oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.

  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that mitigate risk and promote a safe and respectful workplace.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address any potential HR risks.

  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure the hiring of top talent.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically to achieve business goals.

  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.

  • Experience in the fintech or technology industry is a plus.

Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains.

  • General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency.

Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 USD
