This position is part of the IT department located in Fargo, North Dakota. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the ERP team and report to the Manager of Enterprise Applications responsible for configuring and supporting the ERP system and other applications utilized for supply chain functions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work independently to solve complex problems with minimal guidance, mentor other colleagues with less experience, lead functional teams or projects.

  • Engage with a range of users to understand their needs, recommend best practices, perform fit/gap analysis, design solutions, oversee end-user training on the functionality, and deploy solutions in the ERP.

  • Review new features in Dynamics 365 and assess how they might fit into or improve existing processes then provide end user training on the new functionality.

  • Facilitate user acceptance testing processes, resolve test failures, and build new automated tests using test automation software.

  • Provide second-level support and resolve more complex issues submitted by users.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems

  • 7+ years of expertise with as business analyst or similar position within warehouse operations or supply chain with 3 years of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including configuring and managing inventory (cycle counting, locations, transactions, Kanban), procurement and vendor processes, warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping), production planning and execution, Planning Optimization configuration, sales order processing and demand forecasting, and cost accounting to support financial teams in resolving issues and driving improvements.

  • Experience documenting user requirements and defining test cases.

  • Experience troubleshooting errors and performance issues in Dynamics 365 F&O.

  • Skill in designing long-term strategies for process enhancements that can be implemented gradually.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with relational databases

  • Experience with PowerBI and data lakes is beneficial

  • Experience working in a regulated industry (SOX, GMP) is beneficial

  • Experience with label printing, design, and Zebra printers

  • Experience with Leapwork test automation software
