Why This Role Is Valuable  

As the VP, Head of Data Products, you will be responsible for shaping and executing Revantage’s Data and Data Product strategy. You will directly manage a team of data professionals, overseeing data products, governance, analytics, and data science initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that support decision-making across Revantage, Blackstone and Portfolio Companies we support.  This position will be based out of Revantage’s office in Dallas, TX.

How You Add Value

• Work alongside senior leaders at Revantage and Blackstone to implement and drive the strategy around Data Products, Data Governance, Data Catalogues and Data Stewardship
• Be present and consult around all active data workstream discussions and products to bring consistency, efficiency and leverage existing synergies in what is designed and built
• Oversee the development and management of a diverse suite of Data Products that enable analytics and drive efficiency for our stakeholders; with a specific focus on our Insurance and Risk business
• Act as a cross-functional senior level SME for all data needs for each Revantage department and recommend solutions that are built upon and supported by existing infrastructure
• Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for all products that are built
• Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of your Data Product organization
• Drive business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and aligned to the execution of our vision and strategy 
• Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor and ensure the success of the team and consistent improvement of the products we build
• Formulates long-term objectives and standards of performance for the Data Product team 
• Work extremely closely with our Revantage Engineering and Project Management teams, to ensure consistent delivery of data products to our partners
• Provide strategic guidance and comprehensive support to the team, fostering their professional growth and development through mentorship, training opportunities, and performance feedback

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

• STEM Bachelor’s Degree or related degree 
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Product and Data Product related roles; a background in Real Estate or Insurance preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Product and Data leadership, ideally in large-scale service oriented or data-related contexts 
• Proven experience in developing direct reports and successfully leading cross-functional teams throughout the organization
• Proven experience developing and managing client relationships to deliver best in class service
• Demonstrated hands-on Product experience delivering enterprise-grade data, analytics, reporting, or AI products/solutions 
• Willingness to step in, join teams and be personally involved in driving forward solutions when necessary
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an ability to work well with and enthusiastically influence teams & stakeholders 
• Strong mentorship, relationship management, project management, problem solving, project management and change management skills 
• Excellent planning skills coupled with a strong oral and written communications capabilities 

Base Compensation Range:

Total Direct Compensation:  This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
