Develop and maintain VB.NET applications, optimize SQL Server stored procedures, implement ETL solutions with SSIS, and improve database performance.
We are looking for a skilled VB.NET Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills for debugging code, extensive experience in VB.NET development, and expertise in SQL Server and SSIS. This role requires hands-on experience with complex stored procedures, data transformation, and ETL processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience in VB.NET development, including Windows Forms/EXE development and WCF Services
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server development, including relational modeling, complex stored procedures, and performance monitoring/analysis
- Expertise in complex SQL operations, including joins, data aggregation, grouping, and transformation
- Strong knowledge of transactions, temporary table utilization, and T-SQL
- Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL processes
- Experience with data replication services and QLIK (preferred)
- Familiarity with data transfer from SQL Server to other database platforms (DB2 experience is a plus)
- Experience in data modeling, normalization, and denormalization
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is a plus
- Understanding of cloud technologies is a plus
