Position Overview

We are looking for a Sr Product Marketing Manager of Growth with a strong background in growth marketing and product expertise to join our team and drive the growth of AOL. This role blends strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to executing data-driven, high-impact growth initiatives. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in growth marketing, a deep understanding of product management, capable of leading cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious growth targets.

The Sr Product Marketing Manager, AOL will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive tremendous user growth across the AOL product ecosystem, enhance product positioning, and support overall business objectives. This role requires a blend of product expertise, growth marketing acumen, and a deep understanding of market trends to effectively communicate our product’s value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute growth-focused product marketing strategies that align with business goals and drive user acquisition.

  • Design and manage paid and organic growth campaigns, leveraging channels such as SEM, SEO, social media, UAC, ASA and more. 

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Track and report on key performance marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

  • Use data-driven insights to monitor performance, optimize strategies and maximize ROI for growth initiatives. 

  • Partner with consumer insights and product management to integrate user-experience feedback in marketing and product updates.

  • Define and articulate clear value propositions and key messaging for products.

  • Work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and launch support for product launches.

  • Use analytics and customer feedback to provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform product development and marketing strategies.

  • Develop and maintain a testing and experimentation framework to continuously improve growth tactics and strategies.

  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and needs to inform marketing strategy.

  • Ability to manage creative / media agencies on execution of performance marketing campaigns and timeline /budget management 

Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in product marketing, with a strong focus on growth marketing for a software product.

  • Proven ability to manage and scale performance marketing campaigns with measurable ROI.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing and growth campaigns inclusive of owned and paid social, digital, SEM, SEO, UAC, ASA, IRL and more.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Experience driving growth for a multi-platform product - desktop, mWeb and mobile app 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, specifically Zeta, and analytics platforms.

  • Extremely organized and can manage multiple projects at the same time. 

  • Has an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

The compensation for this position ranges from $122,250.00 - $255,000.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
