This is a hybrid role, offering three days onsite at our headquarters in Oak Brook, IL and two days remote.

Job Summary

The Pricing and Channel Specialist supports the development and execution of pricing strategies and assists in optimizing channel performance. This entry-level role involves analyzing data and providing insights to enhance profitability and market competitiveness. This role collaborates with team members across departments to contribute to organizational objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities development of pricing models using market research and competitor analysis.

  • Monitor pricing trends and support recommendations for adjustments to improve profitability.

  • Conduct basic margin and cost analyses to aid pricing decisions.

  • Analyze data on the performance of various sales channels, including direct, retail, e-commerce, and distributors.

  • Support the implementation of product placement, promotions, and channel-specific pricing strategies.

  • Ensure data consistency across channels and assist in identifying potential conflicts.

  • Collect and organize data related to sales, revenue, and channel performance metrics.

  • Help create reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators such as profitability and channel effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and finance teams to support pricing and channel strategies.

  • Research competitor pricing, promotions, and distribution strategies to provide preliminary insights.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or Power BI).

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis techniques.

  • Experience working with two-tiered distribution networks

The pay range/rate of pay for this position is $61,000.00 - $98,500.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.  In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).  This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
