The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer in test who can support our Marketing Technology and Social Platform in multiple ways such as automation testing, CI / CD build out, analysis, and application development. The outcome of this role will elevate the efficiency and speed at which Fidelity not only delivers stable products but delivers quality to our customers.

The Expertise You Have

  • Strong experience with BPA/RPA is a MUST with tools such as, Workato, Camunda, MS, PowerAutomate
  • Experience in secured credential management and understanding Saas application architecture
  • Must have good hands-on experience in designing programmatic workflows, running and debugging, execution management in No-Code/Low-Code platforms or relevant/equivalent platforms
  • Hands-on experience in handling of all basic Parameters Datatypes (String, Array, Int), Json methods, String functions, API Connections, DB Connections, Parameterization, Conditions, Looping and Exception handling
  • Understanding of APIs is a must in terms of API Gateways, API Endpoint/URI, API Connections, Headers, Request/Response Body and various types of API error messages
  • Experience in understanding Enterprise application architecture, Cloud and On-Prem Connectivity
  • Good knowledge in managing On-Prem Data Gateway from initial setup to maintenance will be an added advantage
  • Strong demonstrated experience in delivering software solutions in an Agile environment
  • 2+ years of Project management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Passionate about crafting the best end-to-end customer experience
  • You are a multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks and solutions

The Team

The Engineering Efficiency and Assurance (EE&A) chapter resides in the Fidelity Wealth business unit (FWBU) of Fidelity Investments. The chapter consists of over 245 multi-stacked engineers with a passion around customer experience and with the engineering tool set to seek challenges including: Automated testing, performance testing, chaos testing, application cloud migration and management, CI / CD implementation, security testing and application development. The chapter’s support spans across all of FWBU and provides domain specialists to squads who develop products with the highest customer quality, security, stability, and experience. This role will directly support the Digital Appointment Scheduling Platform within FWBU. The goal of the platform is to create a simple, intuitive, frictionless appointment setting experience to intelligently match clients with the best advisor for their needs. The supported applications include but are not limited to web-based applications, API based applications, and cloud-based solutions.
