Job Title: Senior Product Specialist (multiple positions)
Location: Chicago, IL
Job Responsibilities:
Guide core functions within the Direct product line - including responsibilities for the strategy and roadmap and guide engineering teams. Own the vision, roadmap, prioritization, and product development life cycle integrating advanced analytics into Direct, including our Risk Model, Asset Flows, and other analytical components and tools, including focus on Direct Lens, a brand new area of Direct, focused on Portfolio Construction and Analysis. Guide multiple engineering teams in pursuit of the roadmap and strategic goals, and work to define appropriate business and technical solutions, especially in our flagship product. ***Remote work requests will be considered consistent with company's remote work policy.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Mathematics, or a related field, or foreign equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience in Senior Developer, Technical Team Leader, Senior Product Manager, or a related position. This position also requires: experience with product management; experience with agile development; experience with discussing and defining API requirements and technical and quantitative solutions with the team; experience working with Morningstar Direct or similar technology and familiarity with data, especially working with Risk Model; experience with user research, usage analysis, or similar techniques; experience with concepts and models on assessing the factors of investment risk, and the ability to grasp and communicate on complex mathematical models; experience with Asset Management and Wealth Management industries as well as the distribution channels therein; experience with integrating the parameters and results of quantitative models into user friendly software, charting, and reports; and experience financial/investment data, analytics, and workplace communication.
Must possess unrestricted right to work in the U.S. in this position
Base Salary Compensation Range: $147,742 - 162,000
