Job Description

Position Overview:

As the Senior Manager, Global Networking at Invenergy, you will be working in a highly dynamic and fast-paced technology environment that utilizes a hybrid of on-premise and cloud systems, including PaaS, SaaS, and client-server applications. In this role you will serve as our Global Network Manager, overseeing the full networking infrastructure from network providers, data centers, firewalls, switches and required inputs for office and site build outs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Global Enterprise data network
  • Focused on providing combined data networking services for all Invenergy operations including multiple office locations and 150+ power generation sites, including those around the globe
  • Plan and coordinate direction for both our IT and OT environments to deliver combined LAN\WAN networking services
  • Ensure critical availability and resiliency of primary network connections between multiple datacenters, Azure and operations control centers
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining network compliance with NERC-CIP regulation requirements and with Invenergy’s regulation compliance programs
  • Supporting and maintaining our network architecture primarily consisting of Cisco switches and Palo Alto firewalls
  • Implement and support site-to-site VPN tunnels and remote-access VPN solutions
  • Continuous planning and design for disaster recovery operations
  • Design and coordinate operational workflows
  • Coordinate platform upgrades, patching and maintenance schedules

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience leading and supporting teams
  • 4+ years of hands-on networking experience
  • Deep understanding of enterprise network architectures and routing protocols, including dynamic routing (BGP)
  • Considerable experience in configuring\managing Cisco switches
  • Understanding of WAN redundancy\failover architectures and implementation
  • Solid experience with implementing VPN solutions
  • Proficient in IP addressing, subnets and supernets
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Considerable experience with Palo Alto Firewall configurations (ACLs, IPSec Tunnels, Routing)
  • Cisco (CCNP) and/or Palo Alto Certifications

Base Pay

145,000 - 180,000 USD Annual

Bonus: 25% - 40%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
 
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance. Your recruiter can share more about bonus eligibility for this position during the hiring process.
