Responsabilities

  • Build and Scale Backend Systems: Architect backend systems designed for scalability and efficiency. You’ll work with high traffic and large data sets, so expect to optimize for performance and resilience.
  • Optimize and Monitor: Keep a close eye on performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and continuously improving response times and stability.
  • Prioritize Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard both system integrity and data privacy.
  • Develop and Maintain APIs: Design APIs that connect our frontend applications with backend logic, focusing on reliability and clarity.
  • Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Tackle bugs and technical issues as they arise, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and long-term fixes.

What You Might Bring

  • Experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, Docker, and Typescript.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-time or part-time software development, or you've built your own products/projects as a backend engineer.
  • Passion for gaming and/or Web3/decentralized technologies.
