Job Description:
Digital Architects work directly with clients and stakeholders to design highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable solutions. They are hands-on from proposal to development to deployment and responsible for first level escalations.
A Digital Architect is expected to maintain an ongoing knowledge of the digital landscape including top platforms, emerging trends, AI impacts, etc. Senior Digital Architects are also expected to be knowledgeable about marketing operations, data, channel orchestration, and common use cases marketers are seeking to implement. They are passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented, team-oriented, excellent communicators and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They will deal with highly ambiguous problems, take responsibility for finding solutions, and will drive towards simple solutions to such complex problems.
The Digital Architect is an integral part of the Credera Digital team who participates in growing the Practice with strategy formulation, team building, mentoring and recruitment.
- Participate in the sales cycle as needed
- Meet with clients to determine business, functional, and technical requirements to design the technical roadmap to deliver secure, compliant MarTech solutions based on best practices
- Translate business requirements into component-based framework solutions while working with a broad set of stakeholders
- Perform analysis, design, customization and configuration for data migration and integrations
- Participate in and/or lead efforts of full lifecycle development in a mixed environment to support / make new enhancements and automate existing applications
- Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states
- Troubleshoot key implementation issues and drive to successful resolution
- Establish client relationships as a trusted advisor while providing first level escalation for client concerns and share key milestone celebrations with the team
- Communicate effectively within a globally distributed team
- Document best practices and operational procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, MIS, or a related field
- One of more specialized certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing, enabling, and optimizing Marketing Technology systems
- Experience leading teams to create personalized experiences that drive customer and business outcomes
- Thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing role, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, engaging both business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems analytically, and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and team members

Role Requirements:
Customer Data Platform Experience (3+ years required)
- Architect and implement CDP solutions for real-time customer data unification, segmentation, and activation
- Design scalable, compliant data pipelines integrating CDPs with CRMs, analytics, marketing automation, and personalization platforms
- Lead data ingestion, transformation, and activation using ETL, Reverse ETL (Hightouch), and data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks)
- Drive identity resolution and customer profile stitching across first-party, third-party, and offline data sources
- Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams to align CDP strategy with business objectives
- Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other regulations
- Optimize real-time and batch data processing for personalization, audience segmentation, and journey orchestration
- Deep expertise in customer identity resolution, profile unification, consent management, and data governance
- Experience with event-based, streaming, and batch data processing in CDPs
- Skilled in designing data models for unified customer profiles in Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks
- Strong understanding of data lakes, warehouses, and real-time event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub)
- Experience integrating CDPs with marketing automation platforms (Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Braze)
- Expertise in real-time personalization, journey orchestration, and omnichannel customer engagement
- Proven ability to define CDP architecture roadmaps, best practices, and governance policies

Compensation:
The salary range listed is for informational purposes. Credera treats all applicants as individuals taking into consideration but not limited to their professional and academic experience, specialized training, certifications and associated responsibilities as it relates to our specific industry. The salary range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for each unique employee.
Salary: An estimated base salary of $170K – 185K plus a variable component is anticipated for this role in the US.
