We’re seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer - Android responsible for applying your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your colleagues on a daily basis to stay focused on next generation user experiences in mobile. You'll work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment building world-class experiences for our global customers. As a member of our Mobile Software Engineers, we look first and foremost for people with a deep passion for code simplicity. Engineers with an attraction to building and solving problems in the financial industry through a strong balance of innovation and best practices. 

Responsibilities: 

• Implement new features in Android applications.

• Integrate with backend services.

• Integrate custom hardware via USB / Bluetooth.

• Build and configure AOSP (Android 8+).

• Work in an agile team setting.

• Remain up to date with terminology, concepts, & best practices for coding Google Android apps.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering; MS is a plus. 

• 4+ years of professional experience with Android applications using best practices: modularization, compose, MVVM, clean architecture, and coroutines. 

• Experience building and configuring AOSP.

• Experience with integrating external hardware.

Nice to have: 

• Android device management DPC.

• Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains.

• General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency.

• Experience with RESTful APIs.

• Experience with AWS.

• Experience with web applications, swift, or golang is a plus.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 USD
