Our client is a trusted and established manufacturer of custom cultured marble fixtures, serving the St. Louis metropolitan area since 1978. Known for its commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, the company offers a wide range of products, including countertops, vanities, and shower bases, all fabricated in-house from high-quality materials. With a focus on innovation and design, our client looking to hire an experienced and results-driven Sales Representative to lead business development efforts and drive sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Budget is properly implemented and coordinated through your General Manager. 
  • Stays current with competitive activities - products including pricing.  
  • Stays aware of new products/materials and makes recommendations to the General Manager for potential opportunities to enter new markets or lines. 
  • Identifies potential customers and delivers sales presentations to expand and grow the business. 
  • Ensures that all proposals are processed promptly and in compliance with internal policies. 
  • Prepares initial customer credit review documents. 
  • Maintain the relationships with existing accounts and anticipate the customers’ needs. 
  • Helps develop and meet Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Sales goals. 
  • Review all quote proposals before presentation to customers in his/her territory. 
  • Perform professional demos or presentations of materials, sales tools, and supplies to customers in his/her territory. 
  • Meets regularly with the General Manager to ensure that sales information flows both horizontally and vertically throughout the Organization to ensure that goals and objectives are achieved. 
  • Assuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.   
  • Maintain Order Forms. Samples, Brochures, and up-to-date Information regarding products offered for sale. 
  • Keeps the General Manager informed as to any concerns or customer issues. 
  • Maintain work area and sales literature neatly and cleanly. 
  • Develops & maintains accurate/up-to-date customer account lists which are contacted & solicited on a regular basis. 
  • Assist with various other duties as needed. 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred 
  • Experience in Sales and the cultured marble, granite & quartz industry. 
  • Knowledge of products that are currently selling best in the market and why.  
  • Market knowledge of best players and competitors; pricing, strategies, and their strengths and weaknesses. 
  • 5 Plus years of outside sales experience with trackable references and accomplishments.
