Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced sales leader, with proven experience in Last Mile & End-to-End Logistics to be part of the team leading the expansion of this fast-growing segment at Uber Freight. This is a 0 to 1 opportunity, where you will play a pivotal role in defining the strategy, building the go-to-market plan, and driving revenue growth for our Last Mile and End-to-End Logistics services across the U.S.  This is a high-impact sales role that requires a balance of strategic vision, sales cycle execution, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with internal teams, including but not limited to Product, Operations, Marketing, Engineering, Pricing, Network Planning, and Customer Success to develop tailored logistics solutions that meet the evolving needs of shippers ranging from large enterprises to SMBs.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of end-to-end logistics, competitive landscape, data-driven decision-making, and experience with shippers who need transformative parcel delivery services.

What the Candidate Will Do:

  • Market Development & Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive personal sales strategy to establish Uber Freight as a leader in Last Mile and End-to-End Logistics.
  • Business Growth: Drive customer acquisition, revenue, and market share by identifying and closing new business opportunities across enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their logistics needs and positioning Uber Freight’s solutions as a preferred choice.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Operations, Engineering and Marketing teams to refine product offerings and enhance go-to-market effectiveness. build a compelling value proposition around the prospect’s needs.
  • Sales Cycle Ownership: Track and maintain sales cycle progress using best-in-class tools, applications and processes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data insights to inform sales strategy, optimize pricing models, and improve customer retention. Work closely with pricing teams on Sales templates and self-serve mechanisms to reduce sales cycle and ensure alignment with business financial objectives.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Uber Freight in industry events, conferences, and customer engagements as a subject matter expert in Last Mile and End-to-End Logistics.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation sales, with a proven track record of selling logistics services that may include: Last Mile, Final Mile, or End-to-End Logistics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of the logistics and transportation industry, including parcel and e-commerce fulfillment.   Understanding of Ship-From-Store and Ship-from-Hub delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA is a plus.
  • 3+ years in Parcel, end-to-end, or last mile commercial sales.
  • Experience in entrepreneurial and/or start-up environments with demonstrated success.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the parcel shipping ecosystem including carriers, shippers, technologies and methodologies for identifying savings (rate, process, automation, service, customer experience/NPS, etc.).
  • Highly collaborative approach to leveraging internal resources to achieve personal objectives
  • Self-starter with internal personal motivation to achieve
  • Experience managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carrier networks.
  • Proven experience in working across multiple teams
  • Experience building and scaling new business segments in a high-growth environment.
  • Ability to lead in a startup environment with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex logistics challenges into actionable sales strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and influence stakeholders
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and data analytics platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Detailed oriented and not afraid to roll-up-sleeves to accelerate solutions development.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and other relevant logistics technologies.



Benefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees

Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.  US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.

Washington State, New York, California, New Jersey, Washington DC: The salary range for this role is $147,455 – $179,795 a year

Illinois, Colorado: The salary range for this role is $134,050 – $163,450 a year

Minnesota: The salary range for this role is $120,645 - $147,105 a year
