About Us:
Founded more than 15 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, the DV Group of financial services firms has grown to more than 450 people operating throughout North America and in Europe. Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Now, DV group affiliates include two broker dealers, a cryptocurrency market making firm, and a bourgeoning investment adviser. 


Overview:

As a Quantitative Researcher, you will work with a team to develop a variety of signals, models, and strategies for trading financial markets. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of various components of our research system, and you will evaluate their effectiveness by using accurate statistical methods. As part of a small team with exposure to multiple areas of research, you will have the opportunity to rapidly grow your knowledge of quantitative finance.
Requirements:

  • An advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or a related field (PhD preferred)
  • Programming proficiency in Python, SQL and C++
  • 2+ years of experience with derivative pricing, portfolio optimization, quant investing and quant strategies
  • Exceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving ability
  • Experience solving data-intensive problems is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to complete statistical or applied mathematical research is a plus
  • Prior experience in a quantitative role within a trading environment is a plus
  • Self-motivated and highly productive with a strong sense of urgency and accountability


Annual compensation range $100k-$120k base salary + discretionary bonus eligibility.
