The Procurement Analyst is part of our global purchasing team that is responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle across a wide variety of assets, with a heavy emphasis on technology products. In this role, you will collaborate with members of the purchasing and logistics teams to help purchase goods and services, reconcile our spend, and collaborate with team members to develop and carry out processes to optimize how we purchase goods and services for the firm and the respective stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

Procurement Operations

  • Support the day-to-day tactical purchasing activity of IT hardware and services, purchase order processing, open order tracking, and deliveries
  • Facilitate the complete requisition approval process, including application of our cost allocation methodologies
  • Place stock reorders and backfills for our standard-defined technology consumables
  • Manage assets/inventory and facilitate repairs, maintenance for used products
  • Help support the shipping and receiving process

Reconciliation

  • Work with our accounting team to ensure a smooth and timely process for executing invoice payments
  • Reconcile monthly credit card purchases
  • Assist with shipping invoice allocation and control

Vendor Management

  • Work with vendors to remediate any issues in the supply chain that may impact the delivery of goods and services in a timely manner
  • Investigate and resolve vendor discrepancies on vendor billing-related issues in a streamlined manner
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve mobile service issues

Process Development

  • Work with members of the Procurement, Accounting, Technical teams, and Vendors to continuously develop ways to improve the procurement lifecycle process
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns that can be used towards identifying ways to improve cost optimization and improve the delivery of IT hardware and services

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of IT sourcing, procurement, or technical sales experience (in IT or Telecom-related discipline would be an asset)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Intelligence and creative thinking are celebrated and vital assets
  • Unafraid to challenge consensus, ask questions, and demonstrate ownership
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and an aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Have excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, collaboration tools, and web-based tools
  • Experience with applications such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Wrike, etc. is valuable
