Job Overview

The Processing Specialist covers the day-to-day maintenance and recurring tasks of the processing function.  The role will be focused on ensuring onboarding processes are running correctly and alerting the proper teams when there are issues or interruptions. The role is responsible for researching and verifying card network processing data for our traditional processing partners and the relationship of Payment Card Network IDs.  This role ensures that processing connectivity between RN and their customers is accurate, safe and secure.

This is a hybrid position that requires 2-3 days presence in our Chicago office


What you’ll bring to the table: (Responsibilities)
  • Review detailed credit card processing information for deals submitted for onboarding.
  • Conduct research when new customer processing issues arise.
  • Confirm or troubleshoot processing Merchant IDs (MIDs).
  • Monitor automated processes and reports to ensure they are accurate and operating effectively.
  • Pursue best practices for management of card processing including compliance.
Do you have the right mix of ingredients: (Requirements)
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in an operations or related role
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • •    Banking or credit card processing industry background is preferred but not required.
    •    Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills 
    •    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, and Outlook), Salesforce Lightening
    •    Experience working in Salesforce.
    •    Ability to navigate databases and use Excel.
    •    Detail oriented and highly organized, flexible, self-motivated, and willing to learn and accept challenges.
    •    Thrive in fast paced and constantly changing work environment.
    •    Exhibit an established track record of delivering results on time.
    •    Responsive to the needs of the department and can tackle various responsibilities.
    •    High regard for industry compliance and maintaining and safeguarding confidential information.

  • This is a full-time, nonexempt position; the base compensation for this opening is expected to be $24.00-$26.45 per hour which equates to $49,920- $55,016 annualized and is based on candidate experience, skills, and other factors.
