This role will support Fullsteam's growth and will report to the Sr Director of Finance.  The role will be primarily tasked with partnering with the President of Platform and Payments.  The Finance team seeks highly qualified candidates with financial analysis, modelling, business partnering and commercial experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of bridging the gap between finance and the operations of the business and a solid knowledge of the payments industry.   

Responsibilities:

Business Performance Analysis & Decision Support:

  • Promote business partnerships and advise the payments/platform leadership and other departments.

  • Learn the business and payments/platform specifics hands-on, being able to model and critically analyze this information accordingly.

  • Manage and coordinate projects made up of cross functional teams.

  • Participate in the monthly reporting and variance analysis processes.

  • Participate in the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.

  • Dashboarding & KPI reporting.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Review existing methods of gathering information and performing analysis and propose opportunities for improvement. 

  • Look for operational and commercial synergies (revenue or expense) across the portfolio.

  • Assist in the improvement, development, and automation of monthly and ad hoc reporting.

Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, with the ability to present to various levels of the organization.

  • Excellent team player.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and complete assignments with short deadlines.

Experience:

  • Experience in the payments industry is required.

  • Experience with business partnering and/or operations advisory.

  • Preferred experience in the payments industry, experience in the marketing or insurance industry plus.

  • Affinity with strategic planning, scenario analysis, and market analysis. 

  • Experience with financial modeling.

  • Experience with reporting and budgeting tools.

Experience and Education requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with Accounting, Finance, or Economics concentration.

  • MBA, CPA, or CFA are a plus.
