Job Description

These positions are only available to candidates who are currently enrolled at a community college or trade school.
The Sales and Agency Engagement Support Specialist is responsible for
support of Sales Leaders and our agency force to drive profitable growth and attainment of business goals. This role works with the Agency Engagement team to deliver assistance and resources to our internal and external customers.

What makes this role unique?

  • You will learn the foundation of personal lines insurance, including auto, property, commercial vehicle, and flood with the opportunity to obtain your insurance license.
  • You will learn sales skills enabling you to influence your audience through a deliberate approach to conversations and outcomes.
  • You will be able to develop your creative skills while learning how to build presentation and/or resource materials.
  • This role provides an opportunity to work with multiple groups – Operations, Sales, and the agency force which gives you exposure to a broader scope of experience and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage agency webinars, including scheduling, communicating registration status, and compiling attendance records.
  • Supports audience engagement during Sales webinars via facilitator introductions and Teams tools.
  • Manage digital resource records to track and communicate trends usage.
  • Create materials for step-by-step processes and informational presentations.
  • Identify and deliver resources or follow-up information from Sales or agency inquiries.
  • Manage and track engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in ideation exercises to generate new methods of driving engagement.
  • Provide support to agencies for best practices and sales opportunities.
  • Support internal Sales programs, quoting and policy transfers.

*This position is only available within the US, but not currently available for Puerto Rico, California, New York, Alaska, or Hawaii residents

Compensation

  • As an Apprentice, you will work part-time, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of pay between $18 and $25 per hour, depending on position. Benefits are also available

Skills:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office
  • Basic public speaking
  • Insurance experience not required but is a plus.

• 0-2 years experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
