POSITION OVERVIEW

Minimum Years of Experience Required: 2 years 

Working Location: Candidates with 2 years of experience are eligible for in-office or hybrid schedules only. Candidates local to Chicagoland area will be given preference.

Sponsorship: Sponsorship is not available for this position. 

Base Salary Range: $60k-$85k 

The exact salary will vary based on years of experience and the level of proficiency in both hard and soft skills. It is uncommon for someone to be hired at the highest point of the salary range for their position. Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION 

As a mid level .NET Developer at ALIS, you'll design and build exciting web applications that are not only user-friendly but also scalable for our clients' needs. This role will give you the chance to grow in a collaborative environment, working closely with developers, designers, and project teams to create seamless and impactful solutions. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Troubleshoots escalated issues and identifies reproduction steps promptly.

  • Comprehends the fundamental objectives addressed by requirements.

  • Converts requirements into actionable coding plans.

  • Provides coding time estimates with significant variability.

  • Develops code solutions with limited familiarity of coding guidelines.

  • Acquires coding standards through code reviews with the team lead.

  • Demonstrates a foundational understanding of the branching structure for all repositories.

  • Possesses a basic knowledge of Git commands.

 

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

  • 2 years of C# programming experience 

  • 2 years of web development experience using ASP.NET in a professional setting
  • 1 year of experience working with a SaaS product in a professional setting

  • Communicative - ability to clearly articulate concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborative - effective collaboration with colleagues, share knowledge and work toward common goals.

  • Adaptable - embrace change and quickly adapting to new technologies, tools, or processes.

ALIS asks certain candidates for quick phone calls to gather additional information – these usually last about 5 minutes and are scheduled in advance and according to your schedule. After the phone screen, candidates that are selected to proceed in the process will do an in-person technical interview. A third round, in-person behavioral interview will be arranged for candidates who successfully complete the technical interview.
