Position Summary

CVS Health’s Supply Chain Systems and Technologies Team is seeking a Manager to lead the training for a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) rollout. Our WMS Modernization Initiative is crucial to CVS Health’s Supply Chain Strategy in delivering on our promise to our end consumer while driving efficiencies, reducing labor and improving order accuracy with a balanced focus on colleague engagement and retention.  As a Training Manager on the Supply Chain Systems team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of the new WMS across all the distribution centers. This role involves developing comprehensive training materials, coaching site directors, conducting training, supporting change management at the DCs and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the new system.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Maintaining detailed documentation of training materials (SOPs, Work Instructions, Job-Aids, Quick Reference Guides, etc.) and ensuring up-to-date training environment for all WMS functions

  • Contributing to the creation of a training plan to complete training for all functions on the new system, and processing changes to ensure all distribution center colleagues, management team and support staff are effectively trained to complete the day-to-day responsibilities and handle exceptions

  • Leading the Train-The-Trainer program to empower key personnel to effectively train others within their teams: identification of trainers, conduct trainer training, trainer evaluation, and provide on-going support

  • Leading workshops with Trainers to deliver training, gather participant feedback, and determine best training deliver methods (classroom, hands on training, on the floor training)

  • Identifying training needs, developing tailored training programs, and ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the change process

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in delivering training, particularly in a logistics or warehouse setting

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in change management principles and practices, with a focus on organizational readiness and capacity building

  • Excellent collaboration and good written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with various internal teams

  • Familiarity with various WMS platforms and related technologies

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure successful implementation

  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer-service

  • Strong self-starter with ability to work with little supervision

  • Strong ability to multitask and handle competing priorities at once

  • Ability to foster connection by putting people first and build trusting relationships

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Master's degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
