You ensure that retail plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth for our commercial and retail team. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with retail leadership, category planning, and our customer operations team to implement plans to deliver our annual target.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Lead the development of the retail executional targets that align to BTIs and customer plans as part of the annual and on-going process
- Lead the development and implementation of monthly District Manager and Retail Sales Manager planning meeting to deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual plans based on relevant building blocks
- Suggest and influence investment in into retail execution and growth and is accountable of execution excellence at point of sale, retail incentives communications to include monthly contest
- Play a leadership role to develop monthly selling material and lead the meeting in a box process
- Manage Retail Leadership recaps across all performance reviews
- Retail Commercial Point of Contact for all DMI/ Perfect Store initiatives; primary owner of all execution technology queries to support retail initiatives (DMI support)
- Manage and support all Retail Engagement initiatives and communication

Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Job specific requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' CPG experience in Retail Sales, Customer, Analytics, or related functions
- Comfortable managing with ambiguity and working in a role where the scope will change over time based on business needs
- Knows how to get things done both through formal channels and informal network
- Understands Mondelez culture and cultures of external retail organizations / customers
- Establishes partnerships with key internal support functions and stakeholders
- Instills trust and credibility with customers in order to influence strategies and tactics
- Understands origin and reasoning behind best practices; shares best practices across team
- Competent presenting to internal and external senior leaders, can be trusted during challenging questioning
- Experience driving success with a cross functional team
- Strong, proactive communication skills
- Customer focus, management planning
- Capability/background in analytics and insights. Specifically, proficient in IRI. Experience managing large trade budget and forecast
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
- Connection to external industry resources
Travel requirements: Minimal travel
The base salary range for this position is $106,300 to $146,200; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
