The Lead Solutions Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions. Integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Due to the increasing adoption and integration of the Power Platform, a platform solution architect is needed to design how Humana best utilizes the Power Platform across all lines of business – impacting 45K+ users. This includes being viewed as the enterprise Power Platform internal expert, bringing cutting edge ideas into Humana (as appropriate), fully understanding connection points and downstream impacts across technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design & architecture of scalable and robust solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to business teams in the implementation of Power Platform solutions
- Design and implement integrations with external systems and data sources to enhance the functionality of Power Platform solutions
- Establish and enforce best practices for development, deployment, and maintenance of Power Platform solutions
- Provide training and support to end-users and development teams to ensure effective utilization of Power Platform solutions
- Stay up to date on Power Platform latest features and identify opportunities for innovation
- Ensure all products within span of control adhere to corporate policies
- Maintain SLA’s and operational commitments for product availability
- Partner with Product Managers to develop strategic multi-year product & capability roadmaps
- Exhibit servant leadership, operating with empathy and inclusion, to inspire team members and business partners

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field
- Proven experience with back-end administration in Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, including license management, capacity management, and Microsoft’s Center of Excellence
- Proven experience with front-end development in Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Proficiency in managing SharePoint content
- Team player and strong collaborator both within the department, as well as with Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance Office, and Enterprise Information Protection
- Possess a blend of business and technical savvy that includes a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality
- Experience defining a business-centric, low-code software development lifecycle and governance model to manage various levels of risk and controls
- Proficiency in capturing platform success stories and user experiences to continuously improve the product, promote use in new areas, and articulate the value of the platform to the enterprise
- Excellent written communication skills and storytelling
- Desire to work with a fun, ambitious, and committed team of quirky, smart people

- Prior experience working from home or with remote team members

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$142,300 - $195,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
