JOB DESCRIPTION
In coordination with your supervisor and leadership, help to plan and execute complex projects and tasks regarding the alignment, execution, support, and completion of strategic Human Resources initiatives. Projects may be associated with HR operating model, organizational structures, workflow and activity analysis, process optimization, regulatory/risk compliance, personnel studies, methods, and procedures, and reviews of organization structures. Will also assist with program management and stakeholder coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the planning, monitoring, and execution of HR project timelines, while tracking and reporting progress.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status to supervisors and leadership.
- Partner with stakeholders to align HR project management initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Evaluate project effectiveness and provide data-driven insights to help guide and inform decisions, both during and via post-go live analysis.
- Assists in developing and delivering presentations of reports and/or deliverables.
- Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints from stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to draw informed and/or actionable conclusions.
- Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- This position is hybrid out of Northbrook, IL.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to execute projects to achieve stated objectives.
- 3-5 years of HR related experience, preferably in HR Project Management and/or HR Operations.
- Working knowledge of HR Structures including a basic understanding of the objectives, processes, and procedures within the various subunits of HR.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ServiceNow and Oracle HCM.
What we offer:
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $63,600 to $84,600 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
