We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful HR Coordinator to join our team in either Bogotá or Medellín, Colombia. This hybrid role combines responsibilities across human resources management, engagement, and site/facilities coordination. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting the organization's people strategy by fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring smooth office operations. You will be essential in helping to scale, integrate, and support the day-to-day operations of a growing team in Colombia.
What You'll Do

  • HR Coordinator Duties
    • Support the execution of HR policies and procedures, helping to ensure compliance with labor laws and company guidelines.
    • Facilitate training programs and employee development initiatives to promote continuous learning and growth.
    • Field questions regarding employee benefits and compensation plans.
    • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a positive and seamless transition into the organization.
    • Partner with local management and cross-functional stakeholders to design and launch programs and strategies in relation to operational excellence, employee engagement, and internal communications.
    • Serve as primary manager of the DEEL platform and serve as a contact point between the company, employees and DEEL
  • Site Coordination & Office Management
    • Ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the Bogotá or Medellín workspaces, including facilities management and supplier coordination.
    • Manage office supplies, and equipment needs to support a productive work environment.
    • Plan and organize company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
    • Act as the point of contact for external vendors, contractors, and building management.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    • Work closely with U.S. based HR teams to align on policies and initiatives.
    • Provide regular reports on key HR /People metrics, including turnover and employee engagement.
    • Support efforts to foster a culture of belonging.


About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar HR coordinator or generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Colombian labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and recruiting platforms. Workday experience a plus.
  • Fluent in Spanish; Fluent in English
  • You're a great listener and have a knack for building trust-based relationships at all levels. You maintain objective, honest, confident, and clear communication.
  • Others would describe you as nimble, and able to fly both high and low. You know how to zoom out and think on behalf of an organization while zooming in to tackle nuances at an individual level.
  • You hold a self-starter mindset, have the gumption to take the wheel before being asked, and take comfort in significant responsibility--no matter how administrative or strategic it is.
