CADDi is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Temporary Event Coordinator to oversee and execute key marketing events during a parental leave period. This role demands a strategic thinker who can independently manage event logistics, drive promotional campaigns, and enhance attendee engagement, contributing significantly to brand awareness and lead generation within the manufacturing SaaS sector.

As our Temporary Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of assigned events, including webinars, workshops, conferences, trade shows, and user summits. You will collaborate with the marketing team to align events with strategic objectives, taking ownership of logistics, promotion, and attendee experience.

What your days will look like:

  • Event Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive event plans, including venue selection, vendor negotiation, and on-site management.
  • Promotional Campaign Management: Design and implement multi-channel promotional campaigns to drive event attendance and engagement, utilizing email marketing, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Content and Material Oversight: Collaborate with marketing teammates to ensure the creation and delivery of compelling event content, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Speaker and Sponsor Relations: Manage relationships with speakers and sponsors, ensuring seamless communication and logistical coordination.
  • Attendee Experience Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to enhance attendee engagement, including networking opportunities, interactive sessions, and post-event follow-up.
  • Lead Generation and Tracking: Implement and manage lead capture processes, track event performance, and provide detailed reports on lead generation and conversion.
  • Budget Management: Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Post-Event Analysis and Reporting: Conduct post-event analysis, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for future event strategies.
Requirements

What will a successful temporary Events Marketing Coordinator bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing or related roles, with a proven track record of successful event management.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM and marketing automation tools.  
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of event marketing best practices and industry trends.
  • Experience in the SaaS or manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Ability to be on-site in Chicago a BIG plus
