Primary responsibilities of our Director, Mass Torts will be to manage a variety of engagements within the Disputes, Claims, and Investigations group.
Directors provide value-added consulting services to clients by expanding existing relationships, cultivating new relationships, and providing excellent product delivery. Assignments primarily consist of overseeing the completion of various types of economic damages calculations and related data analysis, with specific focus on mass tort claims.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversight/performance of key client engagements

Business development

Preparation and/or review of written reports, exhibits and demonstratives

Development of staff members, both technically and professionally

Interaction with clients in engagement-management role

Development of skills and technical expertise to facilitate delivery of services

Delivery of marketing and/or technical presentations

Development of practice management systems to enhance ability to deliver work product and develop staff

Pursuit of professional advancement through designations and continuing education

Experience and expertise in mass tort claims, and experience with related insurance analysis a plus
Education and/or Training:

Minimum of 10 + years consulting experience in the accounting, finance or economics areas. Experience at a professional services firm preferred.

4-year degree, advanced degree a plus

The range for this role considers several factors including but not limited to prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
