The Director of Marketing, Geiger & DatesWeiser will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy for Geiger & DatesWeiser brand and products. You will collaborate across multiple levels of the cross functional organization to execute brand campaigns and product launches as well as develop marketing objectives, strategies and tactical plans that can be successfully launched in the market & will lead the ongoing maintenance of marketing and sales programs and platforms. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to continually improve the marketing strategy for the Geiger & DatesWeiser brand.

Responsibilities / Key Deliverables

  • Develops and implements marketing plans in support of Geiger & DatesWeiser product introductions and promotional programs that are aligned with the brand strategies.

  • Develops and implements print and digital campaigns to promote to target audiences.

  • Develops and maintains the social media calendar and ensures necessary content is developed.

  • Develops metrics for campaigns, tracks metrics, and analyzes and reports on successes and shortcoming of campaigns and programs.

  • Ensures accuracy of promotional and brand content in all channels and on all platforms.

  • Establishes and maintains key relationships with internal and external business partners. Works to ensure integration and alignment of marketing strategies for the broader Geiger & DatesWeiser brand and MillerKnoll global marketing.

  • Identifies long-term marketing needs for products within specific categories and across categories, including photography, renderings, collateral, and website content updates.

  • Keeps abreast of competition, competitive issues, products, and markets for modern contract and residential furniture.

  • Manages budgets for all promotional programs.

  • Manages the content on the Geiger & DatesWeiser websites ensuring that it's kept current and best represents the Geiger & DatesWeiser brands.

  • Manages the development and delivery of marketing related communications to the selling teams. Proactively looks for opportunities to improve communications.

  • Participates as needed in client visits to enhance the customer experience.

  • Partners with cross-functional teams in the planning and establishment of goals and objectives for events, tradeshows, and meetings ensuring that Geiger & DatesWeiser representation aligns with brand strategy and commercial objectives.

  • Works with product management team to ensure that overall new product launch efforts are successful. Leads the development of market launch plans for product launches.

  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Education/Experience

  • Degree in in Marketing or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 8-10 years of experience developing and implementing marketing programs.

  • Demonstrated high level of presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures and processes in a logical sequence at a level appropriate to the audience and resulting in effective working relationships.

  • Proven planning & organization skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to take risks and test new and innovative ideas.
