Job Title: Data Developer 
Location: Chicago – Southwest Suburbs 
Job Type: Full-Time 

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a Data Developer with experience in print or manufacturing industries to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions within hybrid cloud environments to support business intelligence, operational reporting, and data-driven decision-making. This role requires expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud-based data architecture, with a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and print production data. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes that integrate client data, production systems, and ERP. 

  • Design and implement data models that support manufacturing and print industry analytics. Enhance integrations with variable data and print related tools. 

  • Work within Azure cloud implementation to ensure efficient data storage, processing, and security. 

  • Collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and operational stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable solutions.

  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in line with industry standards. 

  • Maintain documentation for system architecture, data processes, and design models. 

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in data development, preferably in a print or manufacturing setting. 

  • Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and analysis. Experience using dynamic SQL preferred. 

  • Familiarity with Dynamics, production workflow data and manufacturing ERP. 

  • Knowledge of reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI and Telerik Reporting Designer is a plus. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience working with shared single instance environment, and Azure tenancy integrations. 

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies. 

  • Exposure to AI/ML applications in manufacturing for code building, review and process automation.
