What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Manager, Change Initiatives Business Effectiveness, the Senior Analyst, Reporting & Metrics is accountable for producing reports and metrics for the US Region’s Change Initiatives reporting functionThe role provides to leadership and management, insights to the risk and performance of the CUSO initiatives portfolio. The Senior Analyst, Reporting & Metrics will also focus on supporting the reporting process in producing aggregated reporting.

How You'll Succeed

  • Drive the day-to-day operations & execution of the Reporting & Metrics function, including report creation & design, data source aggregation, data analysis,  data visualizations, and presentations to senior management and oversight committees.

  • Design, develop, and execute metrics and measure thresholds to monitor the risk and performance of US Change Initiatives Portfolio. With with stakeholders to collect, analyze and aggregate initiative data for purposes of reporting.

  • Engage stakeholders across Change Administration & lines of business to build new reporting capabilities and establish recurring reporting need

  • Review reports with management and identify any risks and issues for potential escalation.

  • Identify and execute enhancements to existing reporting as needed, including report designs, processes, and technology. 

  

Who You Are

  • At least 6-8 years of experience in reporting or analytics function with demonstrated expertise in reporting generation & executive presentations 

  • Expertise in data analytics and strong system knowledge in BI/Data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau 

  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required  

  • Strong critical and strategic thinking ability; detail oriented and analytical 

  • Executive presentation skills and effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders  

  • Strong leadership and team management skills  

  • Knowledge of business units and project management processes 

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in reporting outputs 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $115K - $130K for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
