What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, business management, pre-law, or another related field. Or you have an equivalent combination of education and prior relevant work experience.
  • 7 years’ experience in compliance or other risk management discipline, such as audit, examination, fraud examination, quality control, quality assurance, credit risk, information security, data analysis, issue management, risk analysis, etc., preferably in the area of consumer marketing, online credit prequalification products via distribution platforms, and personalized credit offers to consumers via comparison websites and other third parties.
  • Experience reviewing marketing or other consumer-facing content and applying legally mandated criteria to the materials.
  • You will be charged with making sure that the company adheres to relevant laws, rules, policies, and processes. To that end, you must be well versed in consumer rights and regulations under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Graham-Leach-Bliley Act, UDAAP, and related rules, policies, processes, and resources.

We’re also looking for the preferred skills below. Whether you are proficient or could use some brushing up, we’re happy to support your development in:

  • Strong management, verbal, and written skills.
  • Currently maintain, certification as a qualified compliance professional (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), via the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) and Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE)) or other relevant certification.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Identify and manage regulatory, financial, business, data and cyber security risks through service and technology assessments of new or enhanced products or services.​ Work in a structured framework to manage and monitor risk associated with regulatory change, including proposed and enacted new or amended regulations, to achieve compliance.
  • Provide rapid response and efficient issue resolution to minimize impact and mitigate risk of future similar issues.
  • You will work closely with the business unit you will support as a trusted advisor.
  • You will frequently interact with peers, the Law Department, Internal Audit, Privacy, Information Security, and business unit operations, providing compliance related consultation and oversight.
  • You will bring your knowledge of relevant regulations and expertise in compliance processes to assist TransUnion with its legal and business obligations. Be a business partner and a trusted advisor to assigned business units, ensuring that the compliance and ethics program activities align with business objectives and become integrated into their business activities.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $150,000 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
