The Claims Data & Reporting Analyst will be responsible for generating reports, identifying trends, and providing insights on claims data to help drive improvements within the department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver accurate, timely reports and presentations for leadership.
  • Analyze reports to identify trends, risks, and areas for process improvement supporting high-level analyses.
  • Analyze and report on operational performance metrics related to handling of insurance claims and vendor management.
  • Track the effectiveness and efficiency of claims workflows and identify areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and gather necessary information.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reports.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools to create clear, compelling reports and visuals.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required by leadership or other teams.

Qualifications

 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
 

  • Previous experience in data analysis, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; with the ability to analyze complex data sets and extract insights.
  • Ability to present data in a clear, accurate, and visually compelling manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with a focus on data reporting or analysis.
  • Insurance experience is preferred but not required.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided.  The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year.  Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
