Techstra is seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in Enterprise Data Management with a minimum of 7 years of experience serving as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on optimizing data assets across the organization. Position Summary 

The Enterprise Data Management Business Analyst serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on optimizing data assets across the organization. This role translates business requirements into data solutions, ensuring that enterprise data is properly managed, governed, and leveraged for business value. 

Responsibilities 

  • Capture and translate requirements into data specifications and analysis plans 

  • Excellent business requirements gathering and documentation abilities  

  • Experience with data warehouse design and frameworks 

  • Understand principles of data architecture 

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation 

  • Requirement solicitation for structure, tooling, volume, maturity, risk, and operations. 

  • Analyze current business processes and data workflows to identify opportunities for improvement 

  • Gather and document detailed requirements from stakeholders regarding data management needs 

  • Assist in defining data models, mappings, and metadata repositories 

  • Create and maintain documentation for data lineage, business glossaries, and data dictionaries 

  • Support data governance initiatives by helping define and implement data policies and standards 

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on data management issues and solutions 

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field 

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in data-intensive environments 

  • Strong understanding of data management concepts including data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance 

  • Experience with requirements gathering and documentation techniques 

  • Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Certifications in business analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or data management (CDMP) 

  • Experience with DCAM 

  • Knowledge of industry data standards and regulations (Basel, GDPR, etc.) 

  • Knowledge of data frameworks such as Inmon, Kimball, and Zachman 

  • Familiarity with data quality and master data management tools especially Collibra 

  • Experience in banking/finance domains 

  • Understanding of big data technologies and cloud-based data platforms 

Location: This position is in Lake Mary, Florida
