Overview
Responsible for leading the development and execution of the overall brand promotion strategy in partnership with cross functional teams to increase the brand value for the customer.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high performing team to execute on the brand vision globally
- Accountable for product messaging and naming aligned with the mission, identity and core values
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams and external agencies to meet objectives
- Manage brand promotional budget
- Co-develop strategy for ambassador and athlete programs
- Contribute to the Lean Product Development Process
- Identify new marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the brand
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience
- 10 years of experience in Marketing or similar field
- 3 years directly managing a team or related management experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute global brand strategies
- Exceptional communication skills - written, oral and live in front of an audience
- Excellent organization and time management skills; able to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams in a cross-functional, global workplace
- Budget analysis and planning
- Knowledge of global bike industry
- Knowledge of print and digital marketing
- E-commerce experience highly desired
- Proficient with MS Office
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications
- Ability to manage spending in line with corporate financial and strategic targets
- Ability to link market research to data analysis to marketing campaign effectiveness
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%, including weekends
- Ability to work weekends and be flexible with working hours
- Ability to stand at events for long periods of time
- Ability to ride a bike to accomplish objectives
- Ability to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs
- This position will be based in either our Chicago, Indianapolis, Colorado Springs, or Vancouver, Canada locations.

- The salary range is $95,000 USD + up to 45% based on skills and experience level.
- If applying for the Vancouver, Canada location, the salary range is $120,000 + 20% Canadian Dollars based on skills and experience level.
- This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance.
