The Associate Label Center Specialist handles client orders for labels, supports inquiries, processes data, and ensures compliance with U/L specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analytical skills to authorize client orders for label purchase and release requests which includes assigning control
numbers, storage and control of UL labels. - Decision making to approve label designs, interacting with internal customers on label formats and material
specifications as well as interfacing with clients and UL field staff on label shipment. - Responsible for client inquiries from various sources (phone and Salesforce), answers questions and/or resolves
individual problems with little autonomy. - Client focus with placing label orders by providing basic information concerning label types, charges, suppliers, and
order and release policies and procedures. - Maintain information systems by entering data regarding label orders, refunds, release orders, etc., into databases as
well as filing and updating reference materials. - Understand label requirements to follow up on general inquiry calls and specific client inquiries promptly and
professionally. - Actively participate in Microsoft Teams to continuously improve and drive quality into UL's service to the client.
- Knowledge of Field Engineering and label structure.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Investigate label types, label design requirements, supplier requirements, product categories, and label charges as
well as policies and procedures regarding custom labels. - Evaluate custom labels comply with UL specifications by reviewing, correcting and authorizing client designs.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Ability to protect the reputation of the UL brand by issuing labels that meet standard operating procedures.
- Answers general client questions regarding shipment status, address verification, label inventory, and UL mark
clarification. - Provide technical support to in-house employees as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Higher Secondary Education plus prior experience of data entry and accessing data from databases and generally two
years prior related customer service experience. - Comfortable in using multiple software tools.
- Has strong client focus and effective client service skills.
- Able to build and maintain good working relationships.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Salesforce or Oracle knowledge a plus
This is a hybrid position with days in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What we offer:
- Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $44,000 to $54,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
