Lead, Customer Program Management - Automotive

This role is within Chamberlain Group's Business Unit Operations function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Manage less complex secondary customer programs end-to-end, serving as first line automotive customer interface for quality, launch and delivery activities and (ii) Support technical sales and business quoting activities; translate quote requirements to internal teams such as engineering, finance, manufacturing etc.; provide timely responses to all customer-driver inquiries.

  • Support technical sales and business quoting activities; translate quote requirements to internal teams such as engineering, finance, manufacturing etc. Provide timely responses to all customer-driver inquiries
  • Develop customer launch plans including: release schedules, program milestones and deliverables, acceptance criteria, risk assessments and engineering scope changes
  • Drive cost reductions and efficiencies; ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers as committed
  • Identify and resolve operational and services related issues to ensure customer satisfaction; lead interface to senior management and customers on project status, schedules and key issues on regular basis
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5-8 years in automotive industry; 3+ years in program management; experience with RF technologies
  • and automotive product launches
  • Ability to work in agile and matrix environment
  • Able to travel 25% of the time - domestically or internationally


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in electrical engineering
  • Experience in automotive telematics industry, IoT and mobile technologies; experience in formulating business models; consumer / commercial connectivity experience (end user orientation); access controls, home automation, and connected vehicle services
