As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for an Employee Benefits & Solutions Intern to join our team in Northbrook, IL.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll learn & achieve:
Work with our Employee Benefits & Solutions team to assist in the delivery of benefit solutions that support the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on efficiency and sustained effectiveness. This may include:
Taking ownership of employee related inquiries and resolving issues with the highest standards of employee centricity.
Owning and analyzing employee data supplied to external providers.
Overseeing external provider reporting requirements to support appropriate trends analyses, and to ensure accuracy of employee records management.
Collaborating with relevant HR functions to help drive adoption of enterprise employee benefit strategies
Providing logistical and operational support for business changes
Identifying challenges and recommending solutions
Providing guidance and interpretation of employee benefit policies, procedures and processes to ensure local adherence and identifying areas of risk.
Supporting audits, compliance, and other employee benefits programs locally.
Supporting the development and execution of key employee benefits projects and performing other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you a great fit:
Rising senior currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in: Industrial or Labor Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources Administration, or related major.
Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Basic knowledge of customer service principles, procedures, techniques, systems, and standards.
Good customer service and strong listening skills with an empathetic approach.
Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
Ability to successfully execute against established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Skilled written and verbal communicator
Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Highly motivated self-starter
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
